Who am I? Well from a philosophical standpoint do any of us really know who we are? I am Jenn. I am in my early 30s. I am a lover of Sci-Fi hence the reference in my blog title if you didn’t catch it, you’ll have to do some research on your own, wife to a wonderful woman who is also named Jennifer. Yup, it is that confusing just ask the federal government….. We have 2 rescue pets, one is a rabbit and one is a cat. No the cat hasn’t tried to eat the rabbit, to be honest, she is scared of him, apparently she missed that lesson on predator and prey.
I am a chronic pain patient I have more diagnoses than I should for being 30ish years old including chronic pain syndrome and fibromyalgia. I am also dyslexic in 3 languages and suffer from neurological complications from anesthesia which affect my speech and language. So if dyslexia wasn’t a challenge for me when it comes to language, now I have neurological complications that also affect my speech, lexicon, and sometimes even pronunciation on my really bad days.
I’ve started this blog in hopes to bring some experience, strength and maybe even a little hope to others suffering. I know there are a lot of people out there who are also chronic pain patients and I thought my musings might be able to help others.
